Check out is before 11.00 allowing our new guests to check in
at 13.00.
Do
the rooms have air-conditioning and if so does it cost extra?
All rooms at the budget Hotel Emmaus in Rome are air conditioned
at no extra charge.
Is
the hotel on many floors and if so do you have a lift?
The hotel is on 6 floors but we have a lift to access all 6.
Are
there TVs in the rooms with foreign satellite television channels?
We have satellite colour TV with foreign channels.
Are there more
quiet and romantic rooms?
We have more quiet rooms with a view over the courtyard and more
romantic rooms with a view of The Vatican.
Does the hotel have
Internet or email facilities?
You can plug your laptop in directly in the room.
Where can we
rent a car from in the area?
There is a car rental office just across the road.
Which is the
nearest railway station?
The nearest railway station is San Pietro which is Italian
for Saint Peters. It is around 5 minutes walk, and Termini
Central station is six stops on the metro.
Which
languages are spoken at the reception?
English, French, German, Spanish and Italian are all spoken at
the reception.
Is breakfast included in the price?
A buffet breakfast is included in the price as is service
and all taxes... of course if you feel the concierge at the
Emmaus has been particularly helpful please feel free to tip
him!

per room or per person?
The price is per room but includes a continental buffet breakfast
When do we pay the bill?
The bill can be settled on arrival or departure as preferred
by you the guest - here at the Emmaus hotel in Rome the customer
is king!
Do
the rooms have balconies or terraces?
All our Hotel rooms, apart from one with a balcony, only have
windows.
Do
you have non smoking rooms?
Yes, we have non smoking rooms.
Do you have direct dial telephones
in the rooms?
Each room has its own direct dial telephone but of course
these days most guests prefer to use their mobiles.
Do you have a swimming
pool?
No, are you serious of courese we don't have a swimming pool
- the concierge knows where there are some outdoor pools please
feel free to ask him!
Is there a secure garage or
parking facilities available?
There is a nearby private garage available at the cost of 16
Euro a day.
How far away are the Airports?
Both Leonardo Da Vinci and Ciampino airports are around twenty-five
to thirty kilometres away, or about half an hours drive.
Can you
arrange pickup services from the airport?
Upon request a pick up or drop off service can be arranged with
a private company.
How far away are the nearest bus and metro
stops?
We have a bus stop twenty meters from the hotel and the metro
is seven minutes walk.
Do you have a gym or fitness centre in
the hotel?
No.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, pets are welcome.
Is there a restaurant in the Property?
No.
Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from
my room/apartment?
Yes, you can although be sure to bring an ADSL cable... if
not please use some of the many neighbouring internet cafes
which have sprung up all over Rome and particularly near tourist
hot spots like Saint Peters and the Vatican City.
